Noise and permits in Milan
In Milan, when a sound system would exceed the city's acoustic zoning limits, events and shows apply to the Comune for an exception permit at least 30 days ahead. Hotels and villas have their own rules, and we set levels to meet both.
Stage and truss
For music shows and trade fairs, an interministerial decree of 22 July 2014 sets out the workplace safety rules that apply. We check stage, truss and hung speakers with the venue before quoting, and in some halls their own team does the rigging.

Before rehearsal what to have ready
What we need
A floor plan, how many guests, the programme, and who will talk, sing or perform. For a band we need the technical rider; for a conference, the speakers' laptop and slide format. The quote comes with the list of gear and technicians.
Rehearsal and line check
We set up early and run the soundcheck before guests arrive, with a rehearsal for speeches, videos and walk in music. Delivery and pick up keep to the venue's access hours.
Outdoor setups
Outside you need power or a generator, rain cover and some care for the neighbours. In summer a storm can roll in fast, so protecting the rig is part of the plan. Levels are agreed with the venue and, where needed, through the Comune's permit.

It brings sound, lights, stage, screens and cameras to the venue, sets them up and runs them with its own technicians. A good one picks the rig for the guests and the room, not for whatever sits in its warehouse.
