How much does marquee rental cost in Milan?
There is no single price per square metre: it changes with the type of structure, the days it stays up, the flooring and the heating. That is why every structure gets a custom quote. The lounge set starts from €140 a day.
What is the difference between a frame tent and a tensile structure?
Technically, in a tensile structure the taut fabric holds the shape, while in a frame tent the fabric covers an aluminium or steel frame. In event rental the two names are often used as one: what matters is a structure that suits your space.
How big a marquee do I need for 100 guests?
For a seated dinner, allow about 2 m² a guest: 100 guests need around 200 m², such as 10 by 20 m. Drinks or a buffet need about 150 m². The calculator on this page does the sum for you.
Can a marquee go up in a villa garden or at a cascina?
Yes. The ground should be as level as possible, with access for vehicles. At the site visit we check the lawn, gravel or courtyard, the slopes and the anchor points, then choose the structure and flooring with you.
How do you heat a marquee in winter?
With warm air heaters placed outside the structure, so noise and fumes stay out, and with the side walls closed. Their number depends on the square metres, how many guests come and how long the event lasts.
Do I need a permit to put up a temporary marquee?
It depends on where it goes, how big it is and how many days it stays up. Before the setup we check with you what the Comune and the venue ask for, and we take care of the paperwork.
