Terms of Service

These terms apply to every quote and booking with Cover Page Agency. "We" means Cover Page. "You" means the client. Please read them before you accept a quote.

1. Who we are

1.1 Cover Page Agency is the trading name of Capital Prime FZE, a Free Zone Establishment licensed by Fujairah Creative City Media Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, licence no. 11134/2017 ("Cover Page", "we", "us").

1.2 Registered office: Fujairah Twin Towers, P.O. Box 4422, Fujairah, UAE.

1.3 Contact and complaints: info@coverpageagency.com, +971 52 401 8887. We answer complaints within 5 working days.

1.4 These terms apply to every quote and booking. They prevail over any terms of the client unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. What we do

2.1 We provide event services from the UAE: planning and coordination, and the sourcing and booking of independent professionals (artists, hostesses, models, photographers, crews) and independent suppliers (venues, catering, decor, equipment, gifts) for our clients' events, in any country.

2.2 We do not sell goods. Goods are supplied, delivered and invoiced by the supplier, or by us in your name and on your behalf where agreed in writing.

2.3 Unless the quote says otherwise, each professional and each supplier is an independent business. It holds its own permits, licences and insurance and is responsible for its own taxes and social contributions. We are not their employer.

3. Quotes and booking

3.1 Prices on our website are indicative. Only a written quote binds us.

3.2 A quote is valid for 7 days. After that, prices and availability must be reconfirmed.

3.3 Each quote shows the services, the total price, the payment dates and a link to these terms. You accept a quote in writing, in one of these ways:

• Online, including by electronic signature: by clicking the button "Accept quote and order with obligation to pay".
• By e-mail: by writing to us "I accept quote no. [x] and undertake to pay EUR/AED [y]", with the number of the quote and its total price.
• On paper: by signing the quote under the words "I accept this quote and undertake to pay the total price".

3.4 The booking is confirmed when we have received your acceptance and the payment due at confirmation under 4.1 or 4.4. We confirm it to you by e-mail. Until then no date is held.

4. Deposit and payment

4.1 Deposit: 50% of the total price, paid at confirmation.

4.2 The deposit is earnest money. Under article 137 of the UAE Civil Transactions Law (Federal Decree-Law 25/2025) and article 1386 of the Italian Civil Code, it is the agreed price of your right to cancel under section 5. We ask for it because, as soon as a booking is confirmed, we pay down payments to artists, professionals and suppliers to secure them, and we turn away other requests for the same date.

4.3 Balance: the remaining 50% must reach our account no later than the day before the event.

4.4 Bookings made 7 days or less before the event: 100% of the total price is paid at confirmation. For sections 5 and 7, half of that amount (50% of the total price) counts as the deposit.

4.5 Extras you request on the day are invoiced after the event and paid within 7 days.

4.6 If a payment is late, we may suspend our services. If the balance has not been received when the event starts, the booking counts as cancelled by you under section 5.

4.7 Prices shown to consumers in the UAE include VAT where applicable. Prices quoted to consumers in Italy are total prices including all taxes and charges (Codice del Consumo art. 49). Business clients receive prices excluding VAT, which is added as required by law.

4.8 Each party pays the charges of its own bank. Where a supplier or professional invoices you directly, the quote says so, and that supplier charges its own taxes on its own invoice.

5. Cancellation by you

5.1 You must send any cancellation in writing to info@coverpageagency.com. The date we receive it counts.

5.2 Cancellation charges:

• 31 days or more before the event: we refund the deposit, less any non-refundable down payments already paid to artists and suppliers for this booking, which we document.
• 30 to 8 days before the event: we keep the deposit.
• 7 days or less before the event, or no-show: we keep the deposit and charge, in addition, only the costs already paid or owed to artists and suppliers for this booking that they do not refund, as documented. The total we keep, deposit included, is never more than 80% of the total price. If we rebook the date, we credit what we recover.

5.3 Rebooking credit: whenever we keep the deposit, you may use it in full as a credit for a new event booked with us within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability and under these terms.

5.4 We refund you anything you paid above the amount due under 5.2 within 14 days of your cancellation. If an artist or supplier refunds us money for this booking after your cancellation, we pass it on to you within 14 days of receiving it.

5.5 You agree that these charges reflect the down payments made, the supplier costs committed and the date blocked for you.

6. Change of date

6.1 You may ask us in writing to move the event. If we and the booked professionals and suppliers are available on the new date, the booking moves with all payments already made, on the same terms. Any price difference set by suppliers for the new date is quoted to you first.

6.2 If the new date is not available, you may keep the original date, choose another available date, or cancel under section 5, counted from the date of your request. If you cancel, the rebooking credit in 5.3 applies.

7. Cancellation by us, replacements, force majeure

7.1 If a professional cannot perform, we propose a replacement of similar level. If you refuse it, we refund the amount paid for that professional.

7.2 If we cancel a confirmed booking without a valid reason under these terms, we refund all amounts you paid and pay you, in addition, an amount equal to the deposit (UAE Civil Transactions Law art. 137; Italian Civil Code art. 1386). This also applies to bookings paid in full at confirmation. For them, the deposit is 50% of the total price.

7.3 Force majeure: neither party is liable for a failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather alerts, orders of authorities, epidemics, war or unrest, travel bans, or closure of the venue by an authority. You then choose between moving the event to a new date, with all payments made kept as credit for 12 months, or a refund of the amounts paid for services not performed, less the costs already paid out that suppliers do not refund, which we document.

8. Your duties

8.1 You give accurate event details and provide safe working conditions, access, and the breaks and meals stated in the quote.

8.2 Unless the quote says we handle it, you or the venue obtain the event, venue and filming permits.

8.3 Professionals perform only the role booked. Harassment or unsafe treatment of our professionals allows them, and us, to stop the service with no refund.

8.4 You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and for damage they cause.

8.5 No direct booking: for 12 months after the event, you will not book directly, without us, any professional or supplier we introduced to you. If you do, you pay us the fee we would have charged for that booking.

9. Photos, video and image rights

9.1 Ownership: photos and videos produced by us, or by the photographers and crews we book, belong to Cover Page or are licensed to Cover Page (UAE Federal Decree-Law 38/2021; Italian Law 633/1941).

9.2 Your licence: you may use the final photos and videos for your own communication, worldwide and without time limit. You may not resell or sublicense them, or edit them in a way that changes their meaning. You are responsible for your own use of images of your guests.

9.3 Portfolio: with your separate, optional consent (given on the booking form and revocable at any time), we may use event images in which you appear, and your name and logo, in our portfolio, website and social media. For a wedding, each member of the couple gives their own consent. Refusing does not affect the booking. You can withdraw your consent by writing to info@coverpageagency.com. We then stop using those images and remove them from our channels within 30 days. Images in which guests are identifiable are published only with that guest's own consent; otherwise we use only images in which guests cannot be identified.

9.4 Confidential events: if you need confidentiality (for example a product launch or a private family event), tell us in writing before the booking is confirmed. We then publish nothing, or only from a date or in a form agreed in writing.

9.5 Guests: you invite the guests, so you inform them, in the invitation and at the entrance, that the event is photographed and filmed, using the notice in Annex A. You cannot give consent for your guests, and your acceptance of a quote is not their consent. A guest who can be identified appears in images we publish only if that guest has given their own consent, through the QR form at the event or in writing. Without that consent, we publish only images in which the guest cannot be identified, such as wide shots, crowds, backs or blurred faces. Guests who prefer not to be photographed can tell our staff, and we respect their choice. You cover us against claims caused by your failure to inform your guests.

9.6 Our professionals: we obtain image consent from the professionals we book.

9.7 Limits we respect: we publish no images that harm a person's dignity or reputation, and no images of identifiable minors without the consent of both parents. Anyone shown may ask us to remove their image from our channels, and we do so within 30 days.

9.8 Third party photos and maps: some villa photos and map data in our wedding venue finder come from Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, OpenStreetMap, ISTAT and Natural Earth, under free licences (Creative Commons and the Open Database License). The author, licence and source of each photo and dataset are listed on our photo and map credits page.

10. Liability

10.1 Our total liability for any booking is limited to the Cover Page fee for that booking, meaning the amount we invoice for our own services.

10.2 We are not liable for the acts, omissions, goods or services of independent professionals and suppliers, who are responsible for their own work, nor for indirect loss such as lost profit or harm to reputation.

10.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct (dolo) or gross negligence (colpa grave), for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. For consumers, the limits in 10.1 and 10.2 do not apply to our failure to perform the services we agreed to provide, including through professionals we booked as our subcontractors.

10.4 For consumers in the UAE, nothing in these terms limits your right to compensation for our failure to perform our obligations, as provided by UAE Federal Law 15/2020 on Consumer Protection.

11. Private clients (consumers)

11.1 If you book as a private person, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence (Regulation (EC) 593/2008, art. 6).

11.2 For leisure services on a specific date (events, parties, weddings), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(l); Italy: Codice del Consumo art. 59 c. 1 lett. n). Section 5 gives you a contractual right to cancel instead.

11.3 Planning work priced separately: if your quote prices planning or coordination work as a separate item, you may withdraw from that part within 14 days of the day you accept the quote, without giving reasons and at no cost. To do so, send a clear written statement to info@coverpageagency.com. We send you a model withdrawal form with the quote.

11.4 We start that planning work within the 14 days only if you expressly ask us to in writing. If you then withdraw, you pay only for the work done until you told us, in proportion to the price of the planning work. If the planning work has been fully performed at your express request, and you acknowledged that you would then lose the right of withdrawal, the right no longer applies.

11.5 If you live in the EU, you may bring a claim in the courts of your home country, and we may sue you only there (Regulation (EU) 1215/2012, art. 18).

11.6 Nothing in these terms removes rights that mandatory law gives you.

12. Privacy

12.1 We process personal data, including event images and guest consents, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Law and disputes

13.1 UAE law applies, without prejudice to section 11.

13.2 Before going to court, we both try to settle any dispute in good faith for 30 days after a written complaint.

13.3 The courts of Fujairah have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to section 11.

13.4 These terms exist in English and Italian. For business clients, the English text prevails. For consumers, if the two texts differ, the meaning more favourable to the consumer applies.

13.5 If a clause is invalid, the rest stays valid.

13.6 We may update these terms. The version in force when your booking is confirmed applies to that booking.

14. Specific approval (business clients only)

14.1 If you book as a business, you specifically approve in writing, separately from accepting the quote, the clauses listed in Annex B, point B.4, under articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code.

14.2 Consumers are not asked for this approval. Consumers are protected by articles 33 to 36 of the Codice del Consumo in any case, whatever they sign.

Annex A. Notice for invitations and entrance

Use this notice in the invitation and at the entrance. Replace [Client] with your name and [link] with the link to our Privacy Policy.

In English: "This event is photographed and filmed for [Client]. Cover Page Agency (Capital Prime FZE) will publish images in which you can be recognised only with your consent: scan the QR code to give it. If you would rather not be photographed, tell our staff. Privacy: [link]."

In Italian: "L'evento viene fotografato e filmato per [Cliente]. Cover Page Agency (Capital Prime FZE) pubblicherà immagini in cui sei riconoscibile solo con il tuo consenso: inquadra il QR per darlo. Se preferisci non essere fotografato, avvisa il nostro staff. Privacy: [link]."

Annex B. Wording for quotes and forms

B.1 Online acceptance button: "Accept quote and order with obligation to pay".

B.2 Acceptance by e-mail: "I accept quote no. [x] and undertake to pay EUR/AED [y]."

B.3 Portfolio consent on the booking form (optional, in a separate box that is not ticked in advance): "I agree that Cover Page may use event images in which I appear, and my name and logo, in its portfolio, website and social media. This is optional and does not affect my booking. I can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@coverpageagency.com."

B.4 Specific approval in writing, for business clients only, given separately from the acceptance of the quote: "Pursuant to articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, I specifically approve the following clauses of the Terms of Service:"

• 4.6 Suspension for late payment: Cover Page may suspend its services if a payment is late, and a balance unpaid when the event starts counts as cancellation by the client.
• 8.3 Stop of service: Cover Page and its professionals may stop the service without refund in case of harassment or unsafe treatment.
• 8.5 No direct booking: for 12 months after the event the client will not book directly the professionals or suppliers introduced by Cover Page; if it does, the Cover Page fee is due.
• 10 Limits of liability: Cover Page's liability is capped at its fee for the booking, and it is not liable for independent professionals and suppliers or for indirect loss, subject to 10.3 and 10.4.
• 13.3 Jurisdiction: the courts of Fujairah have exclusive jurisdiction.

B.5 Contact form (information only; sending the form is not acceptance of any terms): "We use your details only to reply to you and prepare your quote. More in our Privacy Policy."

B.6 Optional marketing box on the contact form, not ticked in advance: "Send me occasional news and offers (optional)."
