The roles Guide

Fourteen ways a hostess earns her shift in Dubai. Say the event and we place the right profile; two roles on one brief cost one briefing.

Exhibition stand hostess

On the stand an hour before the doors, badge scanner charged and the brochure count written down. She opens the conversation, records the lead and hands over to your sales lead at the right moment. Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai, briefed on your products and your meeting rules.

Registration and conference hostess

Check in desks, badges, wayfinding and session doors. When the queue peaks in the first hour, a team leader runs the desk and the line keeps moving; after that it is a quiet job of names, badges and directions.

Arabic speaking and Emirati hostess

For ministries, majlis, Ramadan tents and openings where the welcome is in Arabic first. Hijab on request, English as the second language, and a briefing on protocol before the guests arrive. Tell us the delegation and we place the right profile.

VIP and protocol hostess

The welcome line, the escort to the seat, the majlis and the lounge for delegations and openings. She knows who sits where and who is greeted first; other languages on request, quoted per hostess.

Show all fourteen roles
Multilingual delegation hostess

Chinese, Russian, French or Hindi beside English, for the pavilion, the buyer delegation and the press day. One hostess per language at the desk, and the languages on the badge so visitors find her.

Model hostess

Launches, fashion events and showroom openings where the welcome is part of the picture. Model hostesses come from our model agency, briefed like every other hostess; from AED 200 per hour.

Promotional hostess and promoter

Sampling, flyers and the mall activation: she starts the conversation in the aisle and brings the visitor to the stand. Promoters from AED 80 per hour, hostesses from AED 120; both on the same brief.

Brand ambassador

Product trained before the event, she talks about your range the way your own team does, at the boutique, the launch and the pop up. From AED 200 per hour, with the training session on the quote.

Hospitality desk and concierge hostess

The help desk at a conference, the concierge table at a gala, the guest list at a private dinner: directions, taxis, lost badges and the small requests that keep a room calm.

Gala and awards hostess

Seating plans, table hosts, the trophy handover on stage and the escort of the winners. She works with the show caller and the waiters on one running order.

Store, mall and pop up hostess

The door on a sale weekend: a greeting, a queue kept in order, a product shown properly. Promoters join for sampling and flyers when the brief asks for it.

Hotel and restaurant hostess

Front desk cover for banquets, iftars and busy weekends, in your uniform or ours, by the shift or by the season, and the same hostess again where you want a familiar face.

Yacht and villa party hostess

Welcome on the pier or at the gate, the guest list, the seating on board and the coordination with the crew and the caterer; she stays until the last guest is on the tender.

Host

Male hosts for the same roles: registration, VIP escort, ushering and the door, in a suit or your uniform, briefed with the hostesses on one team.

Hostess FAQ Answers

How much does it cost to hire a hostess in Dubai?

From AED 120 per hour for a hostess and from AED 200 per hour for a model hostess, with a four hour minimum shift, briefed and in uniform. Night hours, rest days, uniform and languages beyond English and Arabic move the price, and the written quote shows every line.

How much does a hostess agency charge in Dubai?

One hourly rate per role, written in the quote: hostesses from AED 120, model hostesses and brand ambassadors from AED 200, promoters from AED 80, ushers from AED 70 per hour. The rate covers the hostess, her visa and insurance, the briefing and a replacement if someone falls ill. You sign one service agreement with Cover Page Agency.

Is there a minimum booking?

Four hours per hostess per shift. Longer shifts are quoted by the hour; hours after 10 pm follow the UAE overtime rule and cost more.

Can I choose the faces?

Yes. Tap a profile above and add it to your booking; the request goes out with the profiles you asked for. If a hostess is already booked on your date we say so and propose the closest profile.

Which languages do your hostesses speak?

English as standard; Arabic and other languages on request, quoted per hostess. The UAE's courts work in Arabic and five other languages, Chinese, English, French, Hindi and Russian, and those six head the language filter above. Tell us the delegations you expect and we match the profiles; for a rare language we say so early rather than promise.

Do you have Arabic speaking and Emirati hostesses, with hijab?

Yes. Arabic first, English second, hijab on request, for ministries, majlis, Ramadan tents and openings where protocol matters. Say the occasion and the guests and we brief the hostess on the protocol before she arrives.

Which nationalities are on the team?

More than 200 nationalities live in the UAE and Indians are the largest community; the team reflects the city, and the nationality is written on each profile so you can match your guests. Tell us the audience and the languages; we do not place by nationality alone.

How much do hostesses get paid in Dubai?

Two markets. Full time hotel and restaurant hostesses are salaried by the venue; casual event hostesses are paid per shift by their agency. If you are hiring, the client rate through Cover Page starts from AED 120 per hour. If you want to work as a hostess, apply through our Work With Us page.

Can I hire a hostess for one event only?

Yes. One shift, one exhibition or a whole season. Most bookings are casual: a stand, a launch, a conference or a store opening. You sign one service agreement with Cover Page Agency and pay per shift; nothing lands on your payroll.

Do you provide hostesses for exhibitions at Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai?

Yes. Stand, registration and model hostesses for Beautyworld Dubai in October, Gulfood Manufacturing and Big 5 Global in November, GITEX Global in December at Expo City Dubai, Gulfood in March, Arabian Travel Market in May and the rest of the calendar, briefed on your stand and lead capture. In peak weeks, book two weeks ahead for first choice.

Are your hostesses on a UAE visa?

Yes. Every hostess we deploy holds a UAE residence visa, an Emirates ID and health insurance. You sign one contract, with us, and we handle the profiles, the brief and the coordination of the team.

Do I need a permit to hire event staff?

No. The hostess works under her own visa and her employer's work permit; nothing is filed in your name. The event permit, when your event needs one, stays with the organiser.

What is the difference between a hostess, a promoter and a brand ambassador?

A hostess welcomes, registers and guides; a promoter starts conversations in the aisle, samples and hands out; a brand ambassador is trained on your product and speaks for it. Rates from AED 120, 80 and 200 per hour, on one brief.

What does a hostess wear?

Black and white as standard, or your uniform if you supply it; a branded uniform we source is on the quote. Hijab on request for Arabic speaking profiles; hair and make up simple and neat unless the brief says otherwise.

How are the hostesses briefed?

Before the shift, by call or at the venue: your products, the registration flow, the badge rules, who is greeted first and what she may say and not say. Briefings longer than 30 minutes are quoted as time.

What if a hostess falls ill or does not show?

We replace her from the team we keep on call, and a team leader is on site from five hostesses so the desk never stops. The replacement rule is written in the service agreement.

How fast can you provide hostesses?

On demand, even at the last minute: same day calls are welcome and we staff them from the team we keep on call; bookings inside 48 hours carry a rush rate. For a full event team with waiters, bartenders and security, start from the staffing agency page.

Do you cover Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Dubai as standard, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates on request, quoted with travel and hours; ADIPEC at ADNEC in November is the usual Abu Dhabi booking. Choose the emirate in the booking panel and the quote follows.

Do you work with event agencies and hotels?

Yes, most of our bookings come from event companies, exhibition contractors, hotels and brands. One point of contact, one written quote per event, and the same faces again on your next one if you ask.

Who do I talk to?

One coordinator from the first message to the last shift, on WhatsApp or by phone. We reply within two business hours.

Still a question? Ask on WhatsApp, we reply within two business hours.
