Permits and safety
A temporary tent needs a permit from the Department of Economy and Tourism, and larger structures need Civil Defence approval with fire rated fabrics and exit plans. We file both and walk the site first.

How much does tent rental cost in Dubai?
From AED 1,500 for a 3 by 3 m Arabic tent, AED 7,500 a day for a 6 by 6 m dome and AED 16,000 for an 8 by 8 m structure tent. Air conditioning, flooring and furniture are added line by line.
Is renting a tent worth it?
For one event, yes. Buying means storage, anchoring, permits, air conditioning and a crew to build it. Renting brings all of that in one quote, sized to your guests and gone the day after.
What size tent do I need for 100 guests?
About 200 m² for a seated dinner at 2 m² a guest, for example 10 by 20 m, or 150 m² for rows or majlis seating. The sizer on this page shows the area in square metres and feet.
Can I rent a tent for a birthday at home?
Yes. An Arabic tent fits most villa gardens, with majlis seating, light and air conditioning. Your building or community rules apply on private land; we check them with you before the setup.
Do tents in Dubai need air conditioning?
From April to October, yes, and often for day events in winter too. We size the units to the tent, the guests and the hours, and place them outside the walls to keep the noise down.
Do I need a permit for a tent in Dubai?
A temporary tent needs a permit from the Department of Economy and Tourism, and larger structures need Civil Defence approval. We file both with the drawings, and venues with their own rules get their approval too.
